Can I export AVIF, SVG or GIF?

No. The available download formats are PNG, JPEG and WebP. AVIF can be opened when your browser supports it.

Does converting to PNG restore lost quality?

No. PNG avoids further lossy encoding, but it cannot recover details already lost in the original image.

Are metadata and animated frames preserved?

No. The output is a single still image without the original metadata. Keep the source file if you need those details.
